This grain can be used in a wide range of recipes including soups, salads, stews, pilaf, casseroles and risottos. Can be used to thicken sauces, soups and stews or cooked and rinsed prior to adding to recipes if a thinner result is desired.

How to use
Boil 1 cup barley in 3 cups of water with a pinch of salt or stock. Once boiling simmer for 25 minutes. Allow to stand for 10 minutes, fluff with a fork and serve.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight for less than 12 months.
