Product description

Haricot Beans, often called Navy Beans, are the quintessential small, white, oval-shaped legume known for their incredibly creamy texture and mild, slightly sweet flavor. Famously used as the base for traditional baked beans, they are the gold standard for any dish where you want a smooth, buttery consistency that holds its own in thick sauces.

Why You Will Love Them:

  • Ultimate Creaminess: They break down beautifully when cooked, making them the perfect choice for thick, hearty soups, stews, and pur√©es.

  • Flavor Sponge: Their delicate flavor profile means they are exceptionally good at absorbing seasonings, whether it's the tang of tomato sauce or the savory depth of a herb-infused stock.

  • Quick Cooking: As one of the smaller varieties of white beans, they cook through faster than larger legumes, saving you time in the kitchen.

  • Highly Nutritious: They are a brilliant source of dietary fiber, plant-based protein, and essential minerals, keeping you satisfied and energized.

  • Versatile Kitchen Staple: While famous for baked beans, their smooth texture makes them ideal for dips, spreads, and thickening casseroles without needing flour or starch.
