Desert Amber Salt 100g bag
Salt flakes from clean, pure, underground, ancient artesian, mineral-rich, brine springs located near Doodlakine. The salt crystals are hand-picked from clay pans. This salt is a local alternative to Celtic Sea Salt which needs to be transported great distances and has the same nutritional benefits.
Amber salt is made from desert brines that have around 4% magnesium. Sea salt has around 1.2% magnesium. The same with Calcium where desert brines have 1% twice that of sea water. It is harvested from underground salt deposits left by ancient oceans that dried up millions of years ago. This salt is celebrated for its purity and high mineral content. It contains essential minerals like sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium, as well as trace elements such as zinc and copper.
