Sumac 125ml jar

Packed in a 125ml returnable jar - contains approximately 20g of product.

Ground sumac, made from dried and crushed dark red berries native to the Mediterranean and Middle East. It has a ruby-red colour, a fruity aroma and a clean, tart, lemony tang with mild earthy warmth.

Sprinkle it over hummus, whipped feta or baba ganoush, add it to salads, rubs and marinades, or use it where you'd normally squeeze lemon. Refill your own jar.

How to use

Add 2 tsp to cooking as per recipe. Can be used instead of lemon zest in recipes.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight for less than 12 months.
